2. Free Inspections
Our free inspections are provided at no cost and carry no obligation to retain YHS for any services. Inspection findings are provided in good faith based on visible conditions at the time of the assessment and may not uncover latent or hidden damage.
3. Insurance Claim Assistance
YHS assists homeowners in documenting damage and communicating with insurance carriers. YHS is a contractor, not a licensed public adjuster, attorney, or insurance agent. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, approval, or payout from your insurance provider. Decisions regarding coverage rest solely with your carrier. You retain full authority over your claim at all times.
4. Estimates & Contracts
All estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted. Work begins only after a signed contract is in place. Material prices and availability may change; any material price increase between estimate and signed contract will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins.
5. Warranties
YHS offers a workmanship warranty on qualifying installations, as specified in your signed project agreement. Manufacturer warranties are provided directly by the materials manufacturer (e.g., GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed, James Hardie) and are subject to their terms.
6. Payment Terms
Payment schedules are outlined in your signed contract. For insurance-funded projects, payment typically aligns with your carrier's disbursement schedule. Deposits, progress payments, and final payment terms will be clearly stated in advance.
7. Property Access & Safety
You agree to provide safe access to the work area during scheduled installation times. You are responsible for securing valuables, moving vehicles, and removing items that could obstruct work or create hazards. YHS will exercise reasonable care but is not liable for pre-existing conditions or items left in the work area.
8. Changes & Cancellations
Any changes to an agreed scope of work must be documented in writing (a change order) and signed by both parties. Cancellation terms are specified in your signed contract.
